Abstract
Investigation into the 'predictive' properties of the human oculomotor pursuit system revealed that most of the anticipatory behaviour can be explained in tarns of an adaptive control system. A generalised 2 parameter describing function model has been derived which showed an excellent agreement with the experimentally obtained frequency response data.
