Abstract
It is shown that dispersion relations strongly indicate an antibound state in the I = 0, S state of the reaction pi + pi yields pi + pi close to the threshold. A possible antibound state occurs in the I = 2, S wave, but much further from the threshold. No antibound state is indicated for the I = 1 amplitude. (C.E.S.)
