Abstract

Cats exposed to feline leukemia virus under natural conditions sometimes develop humoral antibodies to feline leukemia virus reverse transcriptase. These antibodies were found only in cats that were nonviremic. As measured in an assay for neutralization of reverse transcroptase functional activity, these antibody activities sometimes appear discordant from those directed to the feline oncornavirus-associated cell membrane antigen.
