Abstract
Antibacterial activities of Southern African tree families and orders against Gram-negative bacteria From a collection of 539 southern African tree species, the families Combretaceae, Anacardiaceae, Moraceae and Fabaceae and the orders Myrtales en Fabales were identified to have the most promising activities against Gram-negative bacteria. The results should guide future screening programmes.
