Abstract
The study of the biological activity of Slavinorm peptide geroprotector prepared from am extract of cattle vessels was conducted in experimental models of hypertension and calcium chloride-induced arrhythmia. The results of the study showed that, in the experimental rat model of arrhythmia induced by the administration of pituitrin, the intragastric and intramuscular administration of Slavinorm in therapeutic doses led to the leveling of hypertension symptoms, which manifests in the normalization of blood pressure and heart weight, as well as the kidneys and bodies of the animals. In the experimental rat model of calcium chloride-induced arrhythmia and the intragastric and intramuscular administration of Slavinorm can prevent the development of arrhythmia induced by the injection of calcium chloride. The results of the study suggest that further study of this product for the treatment of age-related pathologies associated with blood-vessel dysfunction remains highly relevant.
