Abstract

Diabetic retinopathy is one of the most common complications of diabetics and its pathogenesis remains unclear. Studies have shown that mitochondria oxidative damage in retinal nerve cells and neuroglia cell may be the common pathway for the occurrence and development of diabetic retinopathy.
