Abstract

The anti-ins ammatory activities of the methanol extract of Dillenia indica Linnaeus (Family Dilleniaceae) leaves were observed in various experimental models related to ins ammation to provide some evidence for its traditional use. Anti-ins ammatory activity was observed in carrageenan-induced edema and acetic acid-induced capillary permeability.
