Abstract

A 20-year-old military cadet presented to a direct-access physical therapy clinic with left lateral ankle pain. During physical therapy evaluation, pain was elicited with heel tap and palpation of the anterior process of the lateral calcaneus. Due to suspicion of bone injury, radiographs were ordered and confirmed a fracture. JOSPT Cases 2021;1(4):220–221. doi:10.2519/josptcases.2021.10563
