Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction rehabilitation in the pediatric population offers some similarities and a few differences compared with adult ACL reconstruction rehabilitation. The challenge for the orthopedic surgeon performing ACL reconstruction in this population is the knowledge that of all of the patients that they interface with this group has the highest likelihood to return to a high level of activity.
