Abstract
Massive MIMO transmission has attracted much attention as one of key technologies in next-generation mobile communication system such as 5th generation mobile communication system (5G system), because it enables improvement in a service area and interference mitigation by a simple signal processing. In this paper, we conducted the channel state information (CSI) when the massive antennas in both the horizontal and vertical planes are assumed at 5 GHz band. Moreover, the antenna arrangement suitable for the massive MIMO is verified in an actual outdoor environment.
