Abstract
The known association of congenital anomalies with hydramnios has underscored the necessity for careful ultrasound evaluation of the intrauterine contents. Numerous studies and case reports have demonstrated the usefulness of ultrasound in diagnosing the more common congenital abnormalities, as well as the unusual ones.
