O’Loughlin, P.M., and Ahearn, C. 2008. Antarctic and Sub-Antarctic species of Psolidium Ludwig (Echinodermata: Holothuroidea: Psolidae). Memoirs of Museum Victoria 65: 23–42. Five new species of Psolidium Ludwig from Antarctica and Sub-Antarctica are described: Psolidium emilyae sp. nov., P. normani sp. nov.; P. pawsoni sp. nov.; P. schnabelae sp. nov.; P. whittakeri sp. nov. Psolidium incertum (Theel) is a junior synonym of Psolidium poriferum (Studer). Psolidium tenue Mortensen is raised out of synonymy with P. incertum. Six species of Psolidium Ludwig from Antarctica and Sub-Antarctica are diagnosed: P. disciformis (Theel); P. dorsipes Ludwig; P. gaini Vaney; P. incubans Ekman; P. poriferum (Studer); P. tenue Mortensen. A key is provided for the 11 Antarctic and Sub-Antarctic species of Psolidium Ludwig.
