Abstract
Receptor binding constants, using 3H-dihydromorphine and P 2 fraction of rat brain homogenate, have been determined for 28 narcotic antagonists. A good correlation (R = 0.92) has been obtained between the binding constants and antagonist potency as determined by Kosterlitz et al. Using the guinea pig ileum preparation. It appears that the systems used in the correlation are useful in determining s similarities or dissimilarities of guinea pig ileum and rat brain receptors.
