Abstract

The apparent lack of agreement among various authors (Belli and Roach, 1968; Baker and Town, 1966; Michael, Scott and Révész, 1966) on the rate of de-oxygenation of a culture medium suddenly exposed to an oxygen-free environment, is probably attributable to differences in the dimensions of the various media studied.
