Abstract
In 2008 a few specimens of Anoplophora glabripennis (Asian Longhorn Beetle), were found for the first time in Denmark. The finding was connected with granite imported in wooden crates, although the wood packaging material was marked as outlined in ISPM no. 15. Activities on tracing back and official actions are described. A survey was performed to detect establishment of any further A. glabripennis having possibly escaped the crates. An information campaign for public awareness and for importers of granite was organised. Finally lessons learned are described.
