Abstract
A general procedure for constructing solutions to 't Hooft's anomaly equations in left-right asymmetric theories is discussed. All the known solutions and a few new ones are obtained from a unified treatment. The characteristics feature is the appearance of a global symmetry which can be an ordinary group or a superalgebra.
