Abstract

Origin of the right coronary artery from the pulmonary artery (ARCAPA) is a rare lesion occasionally found at angiography or autopsy. We describe a case of anomalous origin of right coronary artery from pulmonary artery with ostial stenosis initially diagnosed as coronary arteriovenous fistula from pulmonary artery. The diagnosis was confirmed with conventional angiography. Preoperative diagnosis of anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from the pulmonary artery is important, because this condition is surgically correctable.
