Abstract

Abstract Anomalous behavior of the structure functions in phase-separating systems is discussed. Usually the structure function is considered to have a k2 asymptotic form at small wave number (for a conservative system) and a k −d-1 tail at large wave numbers, where k is the wave number and d is the space dimension. Deviations from these asymptotic forms are discussed. Most of the deviations are reduced to quasirandomness in the correlation, which comes from a long equilibration time and a short structure-formation time. Several pieces of evidence for the present prediction are shown.
