Abstract
AbstractThe combination of a. c. polarography with linear scan anodic stripping voltammetry has been investigated, employing a self‐constructed, phase discriminating a. c. attachment. The resolution and sensitivity of the method was compared with those obtainable, under similar experimental conditions, by plain anodic stripping voltammetry. Changes in the concentration of the supporting electrolyte and the presence of dissolved oxygen frequently affect the sensitivity and must be carefully controlled. The practical application of the method is illustrated by applying it to the determination of zinc in solutions and in a standard silicate sample.
