Abstract

If f(z) = Σckznk, where nk+1/nk ⩾ q > 1, and f(z) is analytic in |z| < 1, the f(z) is an annular function if and only if sup |ck| = ∞. This answers a question posed by L. R. Sons and D.M. Campbell simplifies the proofs of many known examples of annular functions.
