Abstract
This book represents another valuable volume in a series that has been dedicated to presenting the most current information available in various areas of pharmacology. A record 31 articles reflect the many facets of pharmacology, ranging from a chapter entitled Rudolf Buchheim and the Beginning of Pharmacology As a Science to a consideration of the Application of Quantum Chemistry to Drugs and Their Interactions. Unlike many review articles that are written so that only those actively working in the area can decipher the myriad of information presented, the various chapters in this volume are, in general, very readable and can be enjoyed by those unfamiliar with the particular topic.
