Abstract

AbstractThe Past Year has been rather a quiet one amongst Bronte Society members in America. But in this, my ninth Annual Report, as your Hon. American Representative, I am glad to say that the membership on our side of the Atlantic has continued to grow; nat “by leaps and baunds,” but steadily and slowly. We now have a total of two hundred and four (204), seventy-two (72) of these being life members and one hundred and thirty-two (132) annual subscribers, forty-five (45) of the latter being libraries.
