Abstract
Journal of Systematics and Evolution (JSE) has a long history of publishing papers on plant taxonomy and systematics in general.The journal can be traced back to the 1920's as "Contributions from the Biological Laboratory of the Science Society of China,Botanical Series," an influential Chinese journal at that time.In 1951,it was established as Acta Phytotaxonomica.
