Abstract

It is with deep regret that I announce that Anne Skulskie, our Managing Editor, has resigned to pursue some long-held personal goals. Anne has been with the Journal for 12 years and, during this time, she has guided the development of the editorial process which is the key to our success. Anne’s devotion and loyalty to her work and the people with whom she interacts has always surpassed what is required of the position. Her helping hand was always available to help polish or enhance a manuscript and she was the calming force when there were differences of opinion on various issues over the years. Her dedication has truly put her imprimatur on the Journal and this will be felt for many years to come. We are fortunate to have had the opportunity to work so closely with her over the last 12 years; we will surely miss her presence as a part of the Journal, but we wish her all the best in the future.
