Abstract

This research contributes to mitigating actions related to the occurrence of accidents involving the ecotourism State Park Lajeado - TO, can be implemented and included in the management plan of the unit. Being a natural protected area and have natural attractions relevant to ecotourism, the park has no study or methodology that avoids the environmental damage caused by tourist visitation. The research is relevant to contribute to the natural environment should be assessed without this will suffer irreversible damage and loss. Were necessary library researches, data collection through the management plan of the park, as well as studies of the plan documents for public use of the unit. It is necessary that the management plan of the unit including a study that would so feguard the unit and involve security measures, infrastructure, and also count with the preparation and environmental emergency response, training, signage, monitoring of visitors and use of equipment protection. Tourism is a desirable activity for the park, for both its structure needs to be prepared so that the visitor does not compromise its resources.
