Abstract

It is possible to encounter many works of art in Anatolia that are produced in Greece during antiquity and spread to many places of the world for various reasons. Many of the works found in excavations conducted by the Turkish Historical Society between 1951 and 1953 from the base excavations of the Match Factory in Sinop, an important Greek colony, were of such kind. The vase that is the topic of this article is an Antique work in red technique belonging to the 4th century BC. It is also important for having been well preserved. Founded in 1926 during the construction of the Match Factory, this work is now preserved in the Ankara Archaeological Museum Classification Hall. The inventory number is 18296, the height is 0,11 m, the mouth diameter is 0,03 m, and the abdomen diameter is 0,105 m.
