Abstract

For the first time the longitudinal and transverse magneto-resistive effect in textured polycrystalline Bi93.99Mn6Fe0.01 was studied. The ρ(T) dependences were measured in a wide temperature range from 4.2 K up to 300 K, both with no magnetic field applied and in a dc magnetic field of 6 T. Positive magnetoresistance as well as crystallographic and magnetic anisotropies of resistivity were revealed.
