Abstract

The modified phenomenological Ginzburg-Landau (MPGL) theory used to observe the anisotropy of the penetration depth as well as the Sommerfeld coefficient in the pnictide superconductor of the composition Ba0.6K0.4Fe2As2. The values of such thermodynamic parameters have been theoretically calculated and presented in this context. The qualitative, as well as quantitative results of such anisotropies indicate the successful accomplishment of this theory to the superconducting system of Ba1-xKxFe2As2composition.
