Abstract

We have fabricated Nb square superconducting networks and measured critical current density with current flowing along the direction of 0° and 45° tilted from the lattice of the networks. The temperature and magnetic field dependences of the critical current density for both directions are measured and compared with the flux penetration pattern in those samples. It is found that the anisotropy of the critical current density reflects the flux penetration pattern in the superconducting network samples. Near Tc at zero field, anomalous enhancements of voltage for 0° are observed.
