Abstract
We calculate finite-temperature corrections to the effective action of the conformally invariant scalar field in a homogeneous and slightly anisotropic spacetime. The nonlocal term in the effective action is crucially important in keeping the total probability of particle production finite in contrast with the case at T=0.
