Abstract

Loss and vector magnetisation laws under uniaxial and 2D circular flux conditions at 50 Hz are reported for NO SiFe, and for the first time for NiFe and CoFe. The texture anisotropy of each sample is clearly observed. In circular flux conditions, the necessity of rotation magnetisation processes above 1.13 T for cubic textured NiFe leads to the appearance of a hard magnetisation direction pointing at 45° from the rolling direction. On the contrary CoFe remains quite isotropic at 1.6 T. SiFe lies in between.
