Abstract
Transport measurements of bulk YBa 2Cu 3O 7 samples prepared by Melt-Textured growth (MTG) method reveal very high and anisotropic critical current densities Jc with two sharp peaks at 77.3K and high fields. The twin boundaries are responsible for the sharp Jc peak at B⊥ ab planes and the stacking faults may be important for the Jc peak at B// ab. Flux pinning mechanisms are discussed.
