Abstract

The in-plane anisotropy of the spatially indirect (SID) photoluminescence (PL) in an undoped ZnSe/BeTe type-II quantum structure has been systematically investigated and analyzed. With a new method we have succeeded in extracting intrinsic circular polarization degree of this SID PL by a special combination of a 1 4 wave-plate and a linear polarizer with respect to the in-plane crystal axis, without the influence of the in-plane anisotropy.
