Abstract
The paper deals with a spatially homogeneous and totally anisotropic Bianchi type-II cosmological model in the presence of cosmic domain walls within the framework of Barber’s second self-creation theory of gravitation. Exact solutions of Einstein’s field equations are obtained by considering two ansatz: (i) the space–time admits a negative constant deceleration parameter and (ii) one of the components of the shear tensor is proportional to the mean Hubble parameter. The physical and geometrical aspects of the model are discussed.
