Abstract
A simple hydrothermal method was used to produce a new iron hydroxy-fluoro phosphate tavorite: LiFePO4(OH)0.6F0.4. Electrochemical discharge−charge of this 2.60 V material featured a sloping profile over the entire stoichiometry range, indicative of solid-solution behavior, a result of both anion disorder and high ionic conductivity in the lattice.
