Abstract
Abstract Aniline is included on the List of Priority Substances to be assessed under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act. Based on available data, it is concluded that aniline is “possibly carcinogenic to humans”. Though it was possible to derive a tolerable daily intake based on studies in laboratory animals, available data were considered inadequate to assess the exposure of the general population in Canada to aniline.
