Abstract

The physics of turbulent flow in porous media is explored in the Lagrangian frame. The evolution of curvature angles along the fluid trajectories reveals the multiscale nature of turbulence. The asymptotic value of the curvature angle quantifies the effect of geometric confinement on turbulence.
