Abstract

It is shown that photons emitted by channelled particles form a typical diffraction pattern which contains information about the crystal structure. It is also shown that the orientational dependence of the angular distribution of the photons produced by the channelled particles under diffraction conditions has a sharp peak whose angular value is much less than the Lindhard angle. It is determined by the structure amplitudes such as those in the case of the dynamic diffraction of gamma quantum in a crystal.
