Abstract

For pt.I see ibid., vol.13, no.6, p.1161 (1980). The results of calculations of doubly differential cross sections (DDCS) for ionisation in fast ion-atom collisions are reported. The method of calculation which has already been published by the authors, is based on the first Born approximation and the sum rule for the ionisation of each of the colliding partners. The dependence of the DDCS on the initial state of the ejected electron and the electronic structure of the ionising particle at various energies E is investigated.
