Abstract

The directions of phase and group velocities of TE and TM polarization waves refracted at the interface between an isotropic dielectric and uniaxial crystal with magnetoelectric properties are investigated. The angles that determine the directions of phase and group velocities of TE and TM waves are obtained in analytical form in different directions of the incident wave vector. The results are analyzed for the case of uniaxial crystals without magnetoelectric properties.
