Abstract

To report a case of angle-closure glaucoma in a 10-year-old girl with ocular albinism. Case report. A 10-year-old girl with autosomal recessive ocular albinism was examined and treated for subacute angle-closure glaucoma of the right eye. The patient was successfully treated with Nd:YAG laser iridotomy of the right eye. Angle-closure glaucoma may rarely occur in young or adolescent children. Gonioscopy of children with shallow anterior chambers is recommended.
