Abstract

A case of angiolymphoid hyperplasia is presented and the appearances on computed tomography and magnetic resonance scans are discussed. The importance of this rare benign condition lies in the fact that it is clinically similar to malignant disease. Thus it is crucial to endorse the principle of confirming the diagnosis by histological examination before embarking on major surgery.
