Abstract
Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) is an uncommon multisystem disease ranging from isolated eosinophilic granuloma of bone to disseminated Letterer–Siwe disease.LCH rarely resides at the orbit as a solitary lesion and rarely occurs outside the pediatric population whereas in patients with multifocal LCH, orbital histiocytosis is not so infrequent and is generally associated with additional bone or soft tissue lesions. We report a case of a Hepatitis C Virus(+)(HCV+) 32-year-old man who presented a solitary LCH of the orbit depicted by MRI and diagnosed by histopathologic examination.
