Abstract

Aims: Angioimmunoblastic lymphoma (AITL) is a rare aggressive lymphoma that derives from T-cell follicular T-helper cells commonly affecting the elderly population. It accounts for 20% of peripheral lymphomas with a reported 5-year overall survival rate of less than 30%.
