Abstract
Tamil is a dual-dialect language, written and spoken. It can be seen that the variety of a word differs depending on race and region. Linguists call this dialectical research. Although the meaning of the language spoken in one place is the same in another place, we see that the words and phonetics differ. A dialect is classified as a regional dialect depending on the place where it is spoken and as a social dialect based on the social status of the people who speak it. The purpose of this article is to investigate the word and meaning of the word “Anganam'' from semantic point of view. Semantics and lexicology are branches of linguistics.
