Abstract

Hematological pathologies can cause retinal involvement along with all tissues of the body. Pathologies include many diseases such as anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, myeloproliferative and myelodysplastic. It is not uncommon for ocular findings to appear as the first symptom in these patients. Retinal involvement is most common in clinical practice. Since the symptoms are usually non-specific, it is difficult to diagnose. In this review, anemia and leukemias from hematological pathologies will be discussed and their effects on the retina will be explained.
