Abstract
ABSTRACT Andrei Platonov is known mainly for his larger works, often perceived as a surrealistic critic of revolutionary utopia and the building of communism. This makes it all the more interesting to consider his smaller works, particularly the stories in which he shared in the revolutionary and utopian sentiments of his time, even exceeding them to some extent and presenting them in his own original and distinct way.
