Abstract

We have measured the conductance of Point Contacts between LSCO single crystals and Gold tips. The initial increase of the conductance as a function of applied bias rules out the presence of nodes in the gap. The data is best fitted by an extended s-wave symmetry gap, with a ratio of about three between its extrema values.
