Abstract

A detailed review of the literature shows some of the emerging opportunities that the Andean Countries may face under a favorable negotiation terms within the FTAA. Blocs may address the idea of a building bloc approach to economic integration within the Western Hemisphere. The second largest economic bloc in Latin America is something more that a trade union market as institutional approaches made important arrangements in subjects beyond trade matters like political, cultural and economic measures. Opening this regional economy to trade after methodically negotiate within the largest world economic bloc is a real challenge to future development of subregional economy as shown in this paper.
