Abstract

On August 14, 1990, heavy rains fell on DeLand, Florida. As water poured down ramps approaching the lower level of Stetson University's duPont-Ball Library and the city's storm sewer backed up through library drains, staff had to do some quick thinking to minimize damage. What they learned could save you time and money.
